The Chamber Ensemble of London is performing my White Bird - Dartmoor legend in music - with Suzanne Manuell as soprano soloist / narrator on Saturday, 14th April as part of an Evening of English Music, a Tavistock Music & Arts Festival presentation, at St Eustachius's Church, Tavistock. This will be repeated the next afternoon at St peter's, Shaldon. It's great to be working with Suzanne again. She premiered the work very successfully back in 2001. The Western Morning News commented "White Bird...received a well-deserved acclamation. I trust we shall hear it again and again...Suza nn e..was called back repeatedly and rightly so."
